Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms M. Hockly

The subject has a high practical content and is aimed at students who are creative and wish to extend knowledge and skills in textiles and design. Students can expect to construct and create garments/crafts. If a career in clothing design is being considered, this subject will provide excellent support.

Course Overview

Term 1
Tie dye. Constructing a Hoodie.

Term 2
Constructing a pair of Track pants. Screen printing.

Term 3
Constructing a bag with pockets and lining. Applique.

Term 4
A bedroom project of students choice.
